Hello there.
I found this quote on Facebook this morning. I started cracking up. How true this is when you really think about it. Testing at times gets so much talk and stress. Like I have said before, I am not big into the whole testing thing. I just enjoy seeing the kids show off their learning and see how much they have grown. That makes me proud to be their teacher. They will all do amazing things not only on a test, but in life in general. Big picture thinking for me. :0) I love all your kids just as they are, right where they are!!!
Tuesday's folders came home today. There were only two things: a circus newspaper and a reminder to purchase memory books. Please empty, sign, and return.
Snacks are welcome back in the classroom tomorrow. We talked about this today in class. Kids know that if they are not careful with their snack crumbs and wrappers that they will lose snack for the rest of the year. If it is a more than many issue, like it was in Mrs. Auch's room, then we will just forget snack all together. I don't want to do a whole class consequence, and I won't if we can narrow it down, but what happens else where is out of my control. Please talk about this tonight with kiddos. If you do, please write SNACK in the planner for $10.
Alternate spellers got back their tests today. They now know what they need to study for Friday's test.
Homework tonight is a math review called Drops in a Bucket. We did one together in class last week. It is a review of many skills we have learned this year. If they are just not getting one of the skills and you can't seem to help them, please leave it and we will go over it tomorrow.
A HUGE thank you to McLean and Caden's dad for volunteering to serve and clean up with the Memories for Mom day. I have given your name to the correct people. We appreciate you!!!
I think that about does it for today. Enjoy your Ireland photo below! :0)
