Max was star of the week last week, but he couldn't do it till today. I am so glad we waited. We all got to meet Miley the dog. So, so cute! She is fluffy and is a fast runner. She is almost 3 years old and used to be brown and white, but she is now just gray and white….sounds a little bit like me. :0) Ha Ha. Thanks for sharing with us Max!
Homework tonight is Louis Armstrong. We read it together in class. Kids should already know a bit about him as we read about it in our Regional Social Studies book a couple of weeks ago. What a cool guy and without him, we wouldn't have the same Jazz as we have today. He also made up a silly type of singing. It was called scat. Google Louis Armstrong and scat and watch a youtube of him doing this type of singing with your kiddo. If you do, write the word SCAT in the planner for $10 tomorrow.
The read-a-thon is in full swing. Please remind kids to read tonight and mark their time. Even if they are not doing the sponsor part, they should still do the reading part. I told them today that I will pay them $10 for each hour they read. It is kind of me being their fake money sponsor. :0)

There is a quiz in Health tomorrow. Kids were given the opportunity to take home their health folders to study for their quiz tomorrow. It is on ingredients and amounts of those ingredients in food labels.
Fitness club and gym is tomorrow. Please help kids remember their shoes.
